Get in TouchWith over 20 years of experience transforming organizational workplaces, Megan Hay plays a key role in supporting WittKieffer’s mission to Improve Quality of Life through Impactful Leadership. Working with her colleagues within the firm’s Leadership Advisory team, she assesses, coaches, and develops leaders, with expertise working with executives in healthcare, life sciences and Private Equity-backed firms. Megan understands the skills and experiences leaders need to succeed and works closely with C-suite executives to formulate impactful plans to achieve their goals.
Megan’s representative client impact includes:
- Led the leadership development of a PE firm CEO, providing feedback and coaching to shift behavior from an operator to strategist, significantly increasing team retention and board credibility.
- Served as top assessor and coach for a $200B healthcare organization, providing candidate assessment, succession assessments, and executive coaching to business unit presidents and their teams.
- Supported a healthcare technology company in integrating a complex acquisition; assessed the current leadership team, resulting in a CEO transition, coaching the new leader on how to integrate and create a high-performing team.
- Collaborated with a global pharmaceutical client’s executive team to develop its top 50 high-performance employees; provided simulation-based assessments, development plans, and coaching to prepare them for future leadership roles.
Among her varied experiences prior to WittKieffer, Megan was a principal consultant for talent solutions with a North Carolina-based leadership advisory firm. In this role, she partnered with PE- and venture-backed portfolio companies on C-level assessments, executive coaching, and executive team building. Before that, she was the vice president of the leadership advisory practice for a human capital advisory firm for PE-backed technology companies, prioritizing candidate assessment for C-suite leaders. She also served as a senior management consultant for an Illinois-based talent management firm, leading organizational talent projects covering multiple offerings including assessment, coaching, team dynamics, competency model, and success profile creation.
For more than 15 years, Megan served in roles of increasing responsibility for a leading executive search and management consulting firm. She was ultimately promoted to senior consultant, where she developed new initiatives and increased revenues while serving as engagement manager for the firm’s largest clients including Johnson & Johnson, Deere & Company, and AbbVie.
Megan lives in Cary, Illinois, with her family and enjoys traveling with them for adventures.
