With coaching and consulting specializations in selection, succession planning, team dynamics, emotional intelligence, mood regulation, corporate culture, and business planning, David has worked with a wide range of organizations operating in diverse industries (healthcare, transportation, construction, engineering, finance, technology, manufacturing, education, clean energy, oil and gas, hospitality, etc.). In addition to his work as a consultant, David is heavily involved in teaching and outreach. He serves on the board of directors for the Executive Women’s Summit and is a current advisor and teacher for the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence. David is also part of the leadership team for the Denver Chapter of the Academy of Culture Ambassadors. He is the past Executive Director of the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado at Denver.
Previously, David led the Colarossi Group, a leadership development consultancy, for seven years. He also worked as the Vice President of Leadership Development at a management-consulting firm based in Denver, Colorado.
David has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. He finished his graduate education at the University of Denver, where he earned a doctorate in Counseling Psychology.
