Ben Haden focuses on a relationship-driven and efficient results-oriented approach to the search process. A Senior Partner in Oregon and affiliated with the firm’s Irvine, California, office, Ben leads searches for dynamic leaders within higher education, healthcare, and the non-profit sector. Ben’s primary areas of focus include business/administrative operations, finance, human resources, information technology, and philanthropy.
At WittKieffer since 2015, Ben has conducted more than 100 senior-level recruitments. He understands the value of strong talent within organizations and works closely with clients and candidates to ensure strategic alignment. Ben places a high value on orchestrating a comprehensive, transparent search process and recruiting strong, diverse candidates who exhibit a depth and breadth of subject matter expertise and leadership abilities.
Ben has over 20 years of organizational experience in talent management within multiple industries, specifically executive search in higher education and healthcare. Prior to joining WittKieffer, he was an internal executive recruiter for University of California at San Diego for seven years. In this role, Ben co-established an in-house executive search function filling key senior leadership positions throughout the UC system specializing in business and student affairs. In the healthcare industry, Ben was a lead talent manager for six years at Scripps Health, a top-ranked health system based in San Diego. At Scripps, Ben managed all staffing for a Level 1 trauma center, Scripps Mercy Hospital, and partnered on system-wide talent management initiatives.
Ben brings a depth of hands-on industry experience in healthcare and higher education that translates into functional and efficient search solutions. In his personal time, he enjoys travel, skiing, tennis, hiking, and cooking.
