LMH Health, located in Lawrence, KS, seeks a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). After nine years of dedicated service leading LMH Health as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and 40 years in healthcare leadership roles, Mr. Russ Johnson announced his retirement. This is an exciting time to lead LMH Health, as the organization has a strong reputation in the community and has focused recent internal efforts to support operational excellence.
With 174 beds, and over $1.5 billion in revenue, LMH Health has a strong market position and is the sole community hospital in a market of 150,000 people. LMH Health has expanded services to meet the community’s needs, built and acquired new facilities, created a 160-provider enterprise, invested in leading edge technology, and formed key partnerships as part of its commitment to remain an independent community hospital. The organization provides a diverse range of services, including: Emergency Care; Cancer, Heart & Vascular, Imaging; Orthopedics; Pregnancy & Birth; Primary Care; Surgery; and Women’s Health.
The CEO will be a visible, engaged leader with an excellent track record of building strong relationships with physicians, colleagues, and community leaders as well as a performance-driven approach to operational and financial stewardship. The successful candidate brings a strong ability to influence others to deliver exceptional patient care through inspiration, excellence, passion, and data.
