Centralus Health, based in Ithaca, New York, is a newly established regional health system formed through the strategic affiliation of two respected community-based organizations—Arnot Health and Cayuga Health. As part of its growth and transformation, Centralus Health has launched a national search for its inaugural Chief Pharmacy Officer (CPO). This enterprise-wide leadership role will oversee all pharmacy services across the system, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, retail and specialty pharmacies, infusion centers, and a comprehensive 340B program. The pharmacy enterprise generates approximately $300 million in annual revenue, and the CPO will lead a team of roughly 80 full-time employees (FTEs).
A central focus of the CPO will be expanding pharmacy services beyond the traditional inpatient model to create a fully integrated network that includes ambulatory, retail, and payer-aligned offerings. This leader will shape the strategic, financial, and clinical direction of pharmacy services, positioning the department as a key driver of system-wide growth, innovation, and access.

Expected Salary Range: $275,000 – $375,000
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range. Compensation takes into account several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Centralus Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package and an annual bonus incentive.
