Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford (LPCH) seeks a strategic and collaborative treasury leader to serve as the Director of Treasury. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and dynamic leader to continue to develop the hospital’s investment strategy and play an integral role in future capital planning and strategic fiscal management processes of one of the most highly ranked children’s hospitals in the country.
Based in Palo Alto, California, LPCH is the heart and soul of Stanford Children’s Health. With its strong academic affiliation with Stanford Medicine and Stanford University, LPCH is continuously ranked in all 10 pediatric specialties by U.S. News & World Report. LPCH is a 396-bed hospital devoted entirely to pediatrics and obstetrics and is a Level 1 regional pediatric trauma center.
The Director of Treasury will be the key financial leader for managing and optimizing Lucile Packard CHS’ investment portfolio, leading treasury operations and financing activities, and overseeing cash management and debt management of the hospital. The Director of Treasury will help to develop investment policies, establish internal controls, and do so with an adherence to organizational standards regarding investment and financing-related activities. LPCH went through some recent changes in the finance organizational structure allowing for more direct oversight of the investment strategy and treasury management. Given this change LPCH now seeks a strong leader who understands how to lead a function, work in a highly matrixed environment and build and grow a team in a complex healthcare system. The organization is open to this role having a hybrid/remote working arrangement for the candidate of choice.
The anticipated salary range is $220,000 – $285,000 (based on experience) plus bonus and benefits.
