Erie Family Health Centers (Erie), based in Chicago, IL, one of the city’s leading federally qualified health centers seeks a strategic, mission-driven, and engaged leader to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Erie is a recognized Health Center Quality Leader by the US Department of Health and Human Services for providing the highest quality care to an ever-increasing number of patients. With revenues of approximately $120M (FY 2024), Erie serves over 95,000 patients, employs over 850 employees, and collaborates with over 300 learners and others across 13 sites, including 7 large primary care sites (4 with integrated dental), one freestanding teen health center, and 5 school-based health centers. An additional site is scheduled to open in 2025. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and be an integral member of the executive leadership team. They will steer Erie through the dynamic challenges facing community health centers, positioning the organization as a benchmark for others to emulate. The CFO’s collaboration and leadership are critical to Erie’s strategic plan which includes growth and evaluating multiple opportunities while balancing the challenges of the current environment.
This executive will play a role in both strategic and operational leadership capacities, focusing on identifying opportunities to diversify revenue sources and modernize Erie’s financial processes. A pragmatic and thoughtful, collaborative approach to problem-solving and deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape is essential.

The anticipated salary range is $250,000 – $350,000 (based on experience) plus bonus and benefits.
