Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) in Jupiter, FL, is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and relationship-oriented leader to serve as President of Jupiter Medical Center Physician Group (JMCPG). This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing multispecialty practice within a health system that is a national leader for community-based healthcare. As a key member of JMC’s Leadership Team, the President of JMCPG will help shape future strategy, service line growth, innovation in care delivery, and a culture of high-quality patient-centric care to the communities JMC serves.
JMC offers a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, expertise, and specialties, including oncology, heart and vascular, orthopedics and spine care, stroke, obstetrics & maternity care, and pediatrics. The health system serves a primary service area with more than half a million people in Southeast Florida. JMC employs more than 2,500 team members and has revenues of over $530 million. In 2025, they will open a new 92-bed patient tower on the main campus and are slated to open a new 29-bed neighborhood hospital in Palm Beach Gardens in 2026. The hospital at Avenir will offer 24-hour emergency services, operating rooms, diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services.
JMC continues to excel with its patient quality, safety, and satisfaction. JMC is the only Leap Frog A hospital in a three-county area and the only one to make Leap Frog’s national list of top hospitals for all of Southeast Florida. JMC’s workforce is also very engaged due to a strong and established culture. JMCPG has grown significantly in recent years to include 97 providers, 23 care sites, and 310 team members with a wide breadth of primary care and specialty services. JMCPG recently partnered with Palm Beach ACO, which includes 80,000 Medicare lives and is another step in the group’s evolution.
Reporting to the COO of JMC, the President of JMCPG will lead the advancement of their employed providers into a mature group practice, fully integrated into Jupiter Medical Center. A key aspect of this role involves engaging with 56 employed physicians and 41 APPs to ensure meaningful outcomes and alignment with JMC’s mission, vision, and values. The President will leverage the strength of the medical community to enhance the integration of primary and specialty care, emphasizing clinical integration to optimize patient experience and outcomes. Additionally, the President will assess the current organizational infrastructure and implement an operational framework that ensures consistent, effective, and efficient business practices.
JMCPG anticipates continued growth, making experience in expanding a medical group crucial. The President will assess the organization, determine future physician needs, identify gaps, and develop plans to address them. This leader will foster a culture of engagement and professional satisfaction, ensuring safe, effective, equitable, timely, patient-centered, and accessible care. These efforts will position JMCPG for success and growth in the evolving healthcare landscape.
Experience in a competitive market with transformational leadership in care delivery through various payment methods. Must have extensive experience in driving organizational change and fostering continuous improvement.
