Emory Healthcare seeks an innovative, strategic leader to serve as its inaugural Vice President of Virtual Care. The Vice President of Virtual Care will report to the President, Emory Healthcare Physician Division and have dotted line reporting responsibility to the individual who serves as Chief information and Digital Officer, Emory Health, and Vice President for Digital Health, Emory University. The Vice President of Virtual Care will lead and expand virtual healthcare throughout the system, ensuring innovative, high-quality, and accessible patient care. This Vice President will drive growth, oversee clinical and operational teams, and collaborate across departments to align virtual care initiatives with broader organizational goals. Responsibilities will include developing virtual care strategies, implementing cutting-edge technology solutions, and optimizing patient experience in telehealth and digital health services. The VP will also work closely with IT, clinical leadership, and compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and data security.
This role will require an innovative, patient-centered approach to delivering and scaling virtual health services while enhancing overall organizational impact. The Vice President of Virtual Care will be a clinical leader. They will be a trusted, influential, and visionary leader with excellent communication skills. This Vice President will also be collaborative, able to build and leverage relationships across the organization; and, must be a decisive leader who can drive innovation in a growing and evolving system.
