Renown Health, headquartered in Reno, Nevada, seeks a dynamic, ambitious physician leader with a strong quality focus to serve as its next Vice President, Medical Affairs at its flagship hospital, Renown Regional Medical Center.

Reporting to the system Chief Medical Officer, the VP, Medical Affairs for Renown Regional Medical Center serves as an integral member of the senior leadership team and drives clinical excellence, care delivery, and a connected physician community consisting of a pluralistic model of employed and private practice physicians. This leader will be responsible for planning and structuring medical staff services to best align with the organization and community needs. Part of this planning includes creating a platform for care consistency, a strategic direction, and constructive channels for communication between medical staff and administration in conjunction with the system CMO, the CEO of Renown Regional, and the local leadership team.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned physician leader—ideally with experience at the level of CMO or ACMO—who had 10 or more years of service practicing medicine prior to entering administrative roles. This person must bring the highest level of integrity to the role, along with a deep knowledge of both clinical practice and the business of healthcare. This leader must clearly and comfortably communicate with physicians of various backgrounds and administrators at all levels.
