Wellstar Health System has partnered with WittKieffer to seek the next Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center in Roswell, Georgia, 25 miles north of Atlanta. The CFO is a key member of the health system financial department and primarily functions within the executive leadership team at Wellstar North Fulton.
The CFO functions as the lead on-site financial resource for Wellstar North Fulton, focusing on leading the hospital management team toward meeting the financial goals of the hospital. The CFO will lead the annual financial planning process for the hospital while working closely with the Corporate Vice President of Finance. Additionally, the CFO will work collaboratively with Wellstar Corporate counterparts in the execution of financial functions, and provide financial and operational leadership to the hospital management team with regard to business, finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, productivity, internal controls, and compliance matters.
With Net Revenue of $370 million and the best payer mix within the health system, Wellstar North Fulton is a 218-bed community hospital and Level II Trauma Center with over 400 physicians and 1,000 total team members. With an outstanding national reputation, Wellstar North Fulton is frequently recognized for its commitment to providing world class healthcare and patient service, and has received prestigous awards such as the Georgia Oglethorpe Award for Performance Excellence, Level II Emergency Cardiac Care Center, and Joint Commission Stroke Center.
This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance Hospital Division, and is matrixed to the President of Wellstar North Fulton. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated financial expertise and leadership experience within a complex healthcare organization. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable in a health system where employee engagement, physician alignment, and quality, safety and patient experience are the foundation for success.
