WittKieffer is thrilled to support The Lord’s Place (TLP) in its search for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is an incredible opportunity for a visionary and dynamic individual to lead a team deeply committed to offering client-centered services to end homelessness in Palm Beach County, FL.
Since its inception in 1979, TLP has been dedicated to finding solutions for the most vulnerable members of the community. They provide housing, job training, reentry programs, and clinical care coordination. TLP meets clients wherever they are on their journey, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs. For over 40 years, this nonsectarian, social impact agency has served men, women, and families through innovative, compassionate, and effective services that continuously evolve with the mission to end local homelessness.
Following the planned retirement of the current CEO, TLP seeks an exceptional servant leader to serve as the next CEO. This individual will oversee a $16 million human service organization running multiple programs. They must be able to work effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, staff, board members, donors, community partner agencies, government officials, and community leaders.
The Board seeks a candidate with a commitment to TLP’s mission and a passion for serving others. They must be an adaptable, action-oriented leader, comfortable as the public face of the organization, while inspiring and engaging a team of dedicated employees. This role is an inspiring opportunity for highly motivated individuals passionate about helping others and committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate, and effective services to men, women, and children in the Palm Beach County community.
This is an onsite role based in West Palm Beach, FL.
The successful Chief Executive Officer candidate will:
- Align TLP around a compelling vision, engaging stakeholders, and securing resources to advance its mission.
- Inspire and empower the staff with authentic and motivational leadership. The CEO will expand DEIB initiatives, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered.
- Partner with the board to enhance TLP’s fundraising by building relationships with key donors, local leaders, and institutions.
- Serve as the lead advocate and spokesperson for TLP, engaging in strategic partnerships with local organizations, businesses, educational entities, and government agencies.
- Ensure TLP has a fiscally sound foundation and efficiently manages financial operations.
The ideal candidate will possess ten or more years of related experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector, with at least five years in executive leadership. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
