Froedtert ThedaCare Health (FTCH) seeks a strategic and community-oriented executive to serve as the President of the South Region. This is an exciting opportunity to lead within a forward thinking and contemporary academic health system that is on the leading edge of innovation and quality of care delivery. This leader will be charged with maximizing the value of a broader system while meeting the needs of the regional communities.
FTCH is the integration of two premier health systems, ThedaCare and Froedtert Health. This union signifies a dedication to Wisconsin and providing seamless care across the state. FTCH is aimed at delivering value and innovation, which are essential to its pillar of addressing health equity, health disparities and more, with a clear commitment to urban, suburban and rural healthcare. Structurally, the System is comprised of two regions, the North Region and the South Region, which encompasses Froedtert Health. Today, FTCH is a $6.4 billion revenue health system with 18 hospitals and over 22,000 employees. The System is aligned in close partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) to provide advanced, complex full spectrum of care, educate the next generation of providers and researchers while advancing the field of medicine through scholarly activity.
The South Region includes 10 hospital locations, more than 2,100 physicians and more than 45 health centers and clinics, draws patients from throughout the Midwest and the nation. In its most recent fiscal year, ED visits were 194,671, outpatient visits were over 1.7 million, inpatient admissions to its hospitals were over 58,000 and visits to its network physicians exceeded 1.17 million.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of FTCH, the President will focus the region on the advancement of a next generation health system through innovation, excellence in patient experience, quality of care delivery and financial performance. The President is expected to embrace and exemplify a patient centric mission while serving as an external community-oriented leader.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience within a health system with a track record of achieving strong quality, operational and financial performance. They will bring a passion and proven track record for building relationships with physicians, team members, health partners and the community. They will be an expert at guiding and managing a high-performing leadership team, advancing a culture of transparency, performance and accountability across the organization and establishing high-trust partnerships with key stakeholders to achieve results.
