In conjunction with Prisma Health's Board of Directors, Witt/Kieffer is pleased to announce the search for Prisma Health's inaugural President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  This is a career-defining opportunity for an executive seeking to help build and shape a dynamic, progressive organization and to make a clear difference in the lives of patients, families and communities throughout South Carolina.
Prisma Health, a joint partnership between Greenville Health System and Palmetto Health, was formed to serve the people of South Carolina in a way that provides outstanding quality, access and cost.  With more than $4 billion in net revenues, 14 hospitals and over 30,000 committed team members, Prisma Health is the most comprehensive integrated system in its market. 

Most importantly Prisma Health is seeking a leader that is equipped to lead the system through continuation of the integration activities and to demonstrate the positive impact of the system creation.  The organization is currently seeking a progressive, results-oriented leader who can guide the system into the future and assume the role of CEO. The CEO of Prisma Health provides leadership, strategic guidance and direction to fulfill the system’s purpose. The CEO ensures organizational integrity, the provision of high quality care, efficient operations, financial strength, improving physician engagement and patient experience and the development and implementation of goals to drive long-term vitality. The CEO will ensure the development of an enduring, unified organizational culture during a time of transformational change.

Candidates will have significant senior leadership experience as a CEO, COO or other senior level position in a multi-dimensional, high performing and diverse healthcare systems with a preference for experience in systems with advanced strategies for population health and value-based platform development.  Experience leading and integrating multiple organizations and models into a focused structure and blending cultures, operations and strategies, seizing on the opportunities created by scale.

The CEO must be an inspirational leader and a highly effective communicator who helps the organization to grow collectively and work collaboratively. She/he must be an innovative, forward-thinking executive who has direct experience integrating programs and services, forming and fostering strategic partnerships, and creating proven community value and benefit.
