Job Description

The Loyola University Health System (LUHS) Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, progressive and proven executive leader. The CNIO is responsible for providing leadership, consultation, and coordination for the transformation of care processes and outcomes within nursing and clinical ancillary services. The CNIO will lead the clinical informatics team that assists end users from all disciplines in the effective and efficient use of electronic health record technology.

Under the guidance of the Marcella Neihoff School of Nursing, the CNIO will also participate in the core curriculum and act as a faculty member, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. The ideal candidate must have Masters training and prior experience in informatics, clinical transformation, nursing practice and clinical operations. Epic experience is value added. Candidates with academic medical center experience preferred.
