Central Maine Healthcare - Chief Human Resources Officer
Central Maine Healthcare (CMH) has retained Witt/Kieffer to assist in the search for a System Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This position offers the opportunity to partner with a newly hired CEO and to refine and enhance the human resources function within the organization. CMH has net revenues of $760 million, serves more than 400,000 patients throughout Maine and employs over 4,200 team members. Along with its three hospitals, the system also operates the Central Maine Medical Group, a primary- and specialty-care organization with offices throughout Maine, the Dempsey Center, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute.
The CHRO will closely advise the senior management team concerning a variety of human resources matters and initiatives for Central Maine Healthcare; he/she will work closely at all levels within the organization to communicate strategic priorities into a Human Resources vision and plan that promotes the professional development of all Central Maine Healthcare team members. The new successful leader will assess and refine human resources strategies and practices that focus on enhancing employee engagement, talent acquisition and management, HRIS enhancement, organizational development, succession planning, and the integration of human resources across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a system thinker and team player with a proven track record of aligning Human Resources strategy with an operating strategy while leading complex organizational changes that support an integrated enterprise. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years senior management experience in a sophisticated organization known for its excellence in the Human Resource function.
