Witt/Kieffer has begun the search for a dynamic and transformational leader to serve as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Wellforce, a pioneering and comprehensive healthcare delivery system based in Burlington, MA. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced healthcare executive who is innovative, strategically growth-oriented, and operationally savvy to lead an evolving, value based and physician focused health system.

Wellforce is a unique healthcare system, built on key principles of distributed care and the equivalence of academic and community medicine. It seeks a leader who is bold and embraces innovative approaches to healthcare delivery and expansion of the organization's footprint. Wellforce is a $1.7 Billion annual revenue system and has over 1,000 beds, 12,000 employees and more than 2,900 physicians spread across five hospital campuses, which includes: Tufts Medical Center and the Floating Hospital for Children, Circle Health, a two-hospital system in Lowell, Massachusetts, Hallmark Health, a two-hospital system in Melrose and Medford, Massachusetts, plus expansive integrated physician organizations, a Home Health Foundation and a home health and hospice organization that serves patients across more than 110 cities and towns throughout Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

The CEO will join Wellforce as the organization continues to expand, form alliances and adapts to an evolving healthcare landscape. Wellforce is well-positioned to advance its footprint within the highly competitive Eastern Massachusetts region, focusing on gaining additional market share through the expansion of new and existing clinical services, adding new members/affiliates, and driving operational efficiency through continued integration among members within the health system.

Reporting to the Wellforce Board of Trustees, the CEO will spearhead the health system's growth oriented strategy, create a culture that encourages collaboration and innovation, while respecting the traditions associated with each of the participating entities. The CEO will be strategic and operationally savvy and will bring previous experience leading across large, complex health systems. It is imperative the CEO be a highly effective communicator, who is committed to an open and collaborative working environment.
