Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization - Board Members

Brookline, MA

Job Description

Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization (BWPO) seeks three dynamic, distinguished lay board members to help provide strategic guidance to the fourth largest organization in Partners HealthCare System (Partners). This is a unique opportunity to serve in a governance role at one of the most respected healthcare institutions in the United States.

The new trustees will be joining existing external trustees at an unprecedented and transformative time in healthcare and at Brigham Health. In today's era, the BWPO is ahead of the curve in anticipating change and fostering innovation, especially in regard to achieving the Quadruple Aim; improving the patient experience of care (including quality and satisfaction); improving the health of the populations; making efforts to reduce the per capita costs of healthcare delivery; and improving physician wellness.

Board members guide the organization's continued progression and help it maintain and grow its strong market presence. BWPO is particularly invested in its current board by bringing in seasoned leaders who can broaden the diversity of perspective and approach of the board, and bring complementary talents and competencies in order to best position this organization for continued success. This will be a highly competitive, national recruitment for qualified individuals who are passionate about improving the lives and experiences of BWPO patients and who fully support its mission.

Inquiries and nominations are invited. A full Leadership Profile detailing the opportunity can be found below. Interested candidates should send resumes/CVs plus a one-page letter of interest to Julie Rosen, John Fazekas or Kimberly Smith, the Witt/Kieffer Consultants supporting this recruitment, preferably via email, to BWPOBoard@wittkieffer.com.

The Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity for all persons regardless of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status or any other status protected by law.
