Women's Leadership in Academic Medicine: Insignificant Gains?

The progress (of lack of) made by women in academic medicine remains a major topic of discussion. Though women represent the majority of current medical school students, the small number of women leaders in senior leadership roles shows a stark lack of gender equity in the field.
